This well formed snuff bottle is rendered in silver with low relief calligraphy and decoration. The stopper is coral with a silver chain. In our opinion the subject matter, workmanship and material suggest a 1850-1900 date for this bottle.
From an American Collection, acquired from Ashkenazie & Co., circa 1990.
