This elegant miniature snuff bottle is rendered from a pebble of smokey quartz, so named because of it’s dark coloration. The bottle is well hollowed and rests on a raised foot ring.
The stopper is a pebble form piece of dark glass. In our opinion, the subject matter, workmanship and material suggests a Qing Dynasty date for this handsome snuff bottle.
