White Nephrite Jade
Superb Open work dragon pendant rendered in white nephrite jade with a rotating Buddhistic disk in the center. This finely rendered piece reflects the popularity of Tibetan inspired themes during the Qing period. The Qianlong Emperor was especially interested in Tibetan culture and this interest is reflected in jade works of art produced during his reign period. In our opinion, circa 18th. Century.
