This snuff bottle is rendered from an exceptionally transparent piece of quartz crystal. The material is considered to be a healing material. The shape is an unusual square form and is well hollowed.
In our opinion, the subject matter, matterial and workmanship indicate an eighteenth century date for this work of art.
